Moments of Blessing (With the City)

Almost 20 years ago, the liturgy called "Moments of Blessing" began in the Tacoma, WA area to reclaim spaces where homicides have occurred. Associated Ministries have conducted many of these services since the first service in honor of Dexter Villa. People of faith go to each site where there has been a murder so that, through readings, prayers, and personal story-telling and reflections we can reclaim that space for what God intended: life.
